Why is Water Tolerance Important?
Water tolerance is the ability of a fluid to absorb excess moisture and hold it in suspension — away from metal parts. Free water can promote rusting, sticky hydraulic valves, flow restrictions and pump cavitation. Also, additive separation could lead to loss of performance and filter plugging. Our transmission and hydraulic oils have the best water tolerance of any oil tested.
